Training: How to Conduct an Ash Tree Inventory for your Town using Collector ArcGIS

Saturday, February 8, 2020 – 10:15am to 12:45pm Rockingham Free Library

Conducting an ash tree inventory is the first step for municipalities to determine how they will manage the trees in their public right-of-ways. This hands-on workshop with Joanne Garton, Technical Assistance Coordinator, VT Urban and Community Forestry Program, will train participants to conduct a community ash tree inventory using the (free) Collector for ArcGIS Application on smartphones or iPads.  The app will create a map of where ash trees are located in your town’s right-of-way for making management decisions.
