Sweater Weather in June
Like May, June featured below-normal temperatures and above normal rainfall. According to weather reporter Matt Sutkoski, the Champlain Valley ended the month near normal temper-ature-wise, but areas away from the lake were cooler. In his July 1 blog, Matt wrote, “Montpelier, which had a mean June temperature of 60.6, was 2.2 degrees chillier than nor-mal. St. Johnsbury was downright frigid, with a mean temperature of 52 degrees. That was 3.6 inches colder than normal for June.” Read Full Report
