Reflections on Historical Land Use and Wildlife Habitat Responses

Reflections on Historical Land Use and Wildlife Habitat Responses

Tuesday, May 18
7 PM – 8 PM
Wildlife habitat diversity across the landscape is critical for a diversity of wildlife. Historical and current land uses influence that diversity. Understanding wildlife responses to historical landscape changes can help us with our management strategies today. In this presentation we will look at examples of land use change over time and the biodiversity responses. Farley Brown, Sterling College faculty and former Coverts Executive Director, will give us a glimpse at one town’s land use history and wildlife responses over time. Register here in advance for this meeting.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
