Planning to Plant: A Virtual Introduction to Tree Planting – Online

Have you been wanting to plant trees on your property, but are not sure how to start?
Join for a virtual introduction to planning a tree planting. Bill Musson, a Forester with Redstart Forestry, and Ron Rhodes, the Director of Restoration Programs with the Connecticut River Conservancy, will provide the background information needed to plan a successful tree planting, including species selection, habitat selection, sourcing stock, and continual maintenance. This workshop will be followed by an in-person, hands-on workshop on Saturday, April 30, 9-12 pm at the Ottauquechee River Trail.
