Remembering Put Blodgett, VWA president and voice for forestry!

Your opportunity to add your voice to our celebration

VWA will be celebrating Put Blodgett, our long-time leader who passed away in March 2020, with a reception at the VWA annual meeting, following a day filled with woods’ walks, good food, great speakers, and loads of long-awaited camaraderie. At 4pm, we will kick off the reception and “open the mic.”  But we want you all to have an opportunity to share your memories and anecdotes whether you’re “mic phobic” or cannot attend. Here’s how: send us a photo with your memory message in a caption, a written remembrance, or a brief video to share your story with us. We’ll compile all of your submissions into a slide slow that we can show during the event, post on our website, and save in the VWA archives of wonderful memories.
