Woodland Owners & Managers

Do you strive to leave the land better than you found it? Join others who share your passion for Vermont’s working woodlands. Participate in workshops, woods’ tours, networking events, and policy discussion; access current information, articles, and resources.

If you are a forest landowner, forestry-related professional, or an individual who cares about the future of the forest, please consider joining others with similar beliefs. Our locally-led membership organization represents and promotes the interest of all.

Why Join?

Vermont Woodlands is a group of more than one thousand private landowners just like you. About 75% of our members are your neighbors who live and work in your communities; others, who hail from 27 different states and Canada, make Vermont their home away from home. All are committed to preserving the working landscape of Vermont.

Our members also represent the professional community. They are foresters, loggers, sawmill operators, wood products manufacturers, and retailers who bring expertise in a variety of forest-related topics. Together, our private and professional members raise one voice for the future of good forestry in Vermont.
